Hot take time. Dead Men Tell No Tales might not hit the highs of the original trilogy, but it absolutely works as a fun, easy watch. It leans into adventure, keeps things light, and brings back the legacy of Will and Elizabeth in a way that feels satisfying. Sometimes that is exactly what you want from a Pirates movie.
