Kit likes to start a review with what his body reacted to, and the finale had him anxious, on the edge of his seat, locked in the entire time. Having read Fire and Blood three times, that reaction is a real testament to the power of the show's changes and how invested he is in these portrayals. There are some massive divergences from the book here, especially this episode, and he loved a lot of them. Stellar battle, some great noodley boy action, and everything they did with Ulf and Hugh. What more could you want from a finale?
