The scene is staged so strangely it feels like a dream. Sunfyre just wanders into the great hall right as Aegon happens to be landing. We were sure Vhagar was returning, then Sunfyre appears and we figured this had to be a nightmare, especially since Aemond's been having those dreams about Aegon all season. But it wasn't a dream. It was something even better. Aegon slaps the absolute daylights out of him. That I'm alive delivery from Tom Glynn-Carney is so good, and it's got us excited for where these characters go next.
