Of these Stranger Things podcasts I listen to, this one by far is my favorite. They have the exact mix of joy, enthusiasm, honesty, analysis, comedy, and connection to references of 80s culture. The structure / routine they have in place for each episode is fantastic. It really allows the discussion to flow in a directed manner so I feel like all of the major to minor components of the episode are being recognized. Above all, the impression of Dr. Brenner is a MUST listen 😂. Hilarious. I just can’t explain how great it’s been listening. So great I actually wrote a review, which I never do. Thank you!

No, but seriously, it really is great. I binge watched season 4 in two days and I needed more Stranger Things content to fill the void ‘til Vol. 2. This was the first one I decided to listen to and I don’t regret my decision. It’s funny and they do a great analysis/critique of each episode

Solid content, good rapport between hosts without too many tangents unrelated to the show. Great recap with interesting perspectives!

This show is everything I wanted a Stranger Things podcast to be. I wanted a podcast that was casual but also went in depth into the story and told their opinions about it so I could see different perspectives. The humor is great, I find myself laughing with them like I’m there and hanging out with some friends. Great podcast.

Just found this for season 4, but it is accompanying me on my rewatch. Great work guys.

Fellas. You have made crunching the numbers a lot less boring during my day job until my acting career takes off (which it won’t because I’m a mid thirties mom who is good at math). Love this podcast. Can’t wait for part 2.

So glad I stumbled across this podcast! The guys are hilarious and each episode cracks me up while also giving a good general rundown / analysis of the show.

Just started listening to these guys after I watched volume I, and I love it! Great combination of helpful analysis and dorky humor. Hope they return for Volume II and Season 5!

Only looked for a ST podcast after Vol 1 of Season 4 dropped, and I really enjoy this one. The guys obviously have fun doing this which adds to how fun the show is in general. I love the episodes being bookended by MadLibs.

I just found this podcast after watch season 4. I was actually like crying laughing listening to you guys especially when you mimic dr brenner (sound exactly like him!!) and when you imitate the Russians 😂😂 SO funny!!!

I finished Season 4 of Stranger Things very quickly: all at once, as soon as was physically possible, and in a life damaging manner. It is clear that these guys took to the podcast in a similar fashion, and I have to say I am grateful for that. In an era where “hate reviews” are posted just for the clicks, I’d rather like to lean in towards reviewers that actually joyfully engage with the material, rather than antiseptically dissect it, especially when the reviewers are devoted fans themselves. Throughout Streaming Things podcast, the enthusiasm for the show never wanes. In addition, I felt that the necessary critique of certain plot holes, character analysis, or occasional reasonable disagreement with plot direction all felt welcome and earnest. I am new to the podcast for this season, and I enjoyed the humor and camaraderie of what feels like three long time friends discussing one of their faves, and it reminds me of going to the movies with friends where we would spend almost as long hashing out the movie afterwards as we did watching it. I am kind of far away from those moments now, and this brings me closer to those fond memories. Cheers, Streaming Things!

Literally started listening today. Listened to the last 7 episodes. I love all the impressions you guys make and jokes yal crack. I also appreciate the time and detail you gentlemen put into it. Now I’m going back and downloading from the start of the show. Can’t wait to listen.

Such an great pod. I just discovered them starting at season 4 and absolutely love these guys. Great chemistry and deep insight, such a fun podcast. The madlibs crack me up. I’ll have to listen to past episodes just because it’s so enjoyable. I really wish these guys covered more shows or even movies.
