Gwayne quietly became one of our favorites this season. Ormund is a hypocrite, chastising Gwayne for wanting a feather bed when Gwayne has proven himself more capable in an actual fight. So when the stinky boys arrive and Ormund is too taken aback by the smell to read the danger,…
Corlys learns through pirate rumors that Tyland survived the Gullet, which the queen genuinely needs to know. But he and Rhaenyra are on the outs, so he makes Alyn carry the message instead. Ask her to circle yes or no! Our favorite kind of petty. Full episode of Streaming Things…
It's not the Butcher's Ball anymore. It's the Cole Cuts! Cole gets killed early and the whole thing is built around denial. He wants a heroic death and songs sung about him. Then the show shoots him down, no ceremony, while he's hoping Alicent will hear how cool he was.…
Kit and Steve are once again joined by Erica to continue their House of the Dragon season 3 coverage! Criston Cole finally catches up with his foes. Gwayne reunites with Ormund and Daeron at Tumbleton and immediately smells something fishy. Alys plays some mind games with Aemond. Alicent hatches another…
Daemon gave the Gold Cloaks his big Prince of Flea Bottom speech and the show made sure we saw the one guard who wasn't sold. Most of the crowd ate it up, but that one confused face was the funniest editing choice of the episode. Hear the full breakdown in…
This is the scene that made Season 3 feel like classic Game of Thrones again. Rhaenyra and Daemon switching to High Valyrian in a room full of potential enemies, a confused servant catching stray glares while lighting candles, and two actors emoting through constructed gibberish like it's Shakespeare. We also…
Tyland Lannister got the big hero return and our only reaction was wait, that guy? The man survived getting thrown in the water, mud wrestling for diplomacy, and the entire Essos experience, and the show wants us to cheer like it's the Hound coming back. We had a much funnier…
Larys Strong just delivered the most brutal speech of Season 3 and Aegon had it coming. After nonstop whinging about golden child Aemond, Aegon finally got the truth: terrible king, worse man. The question we couldn't settle is whether Larys meant every word or was strategically kicking Aegon out of…
Kit named Episode 5 his least favorite of the season and then spent the next minute explaining why it is still a really good episode. He loves what they are doing with Daemon and Rhaenyra, the Luthor Largent plot, Addam and Baela, Torrhen Manderly and Lady Frey. The disappointment comes…
Kit, Andy, and Steve continue the march for House of the Dragon season 3! Rhaenyra continues facing trouble at Kings Landing thanks to the fallout from the gold cloaks actions on the smallfolk, and some Ormund Hightower trickery. Criston Cole struggles in his campaign against the rivermen and the winter…
The saddle smack. The shush. Every dog owner knows this exact move. Caraxes is just a very large dog who wants to eat the neighbors, and now we all want to teach our dogs Valyrian. Lykiri! Full House of the Dragon Tumbleton recap on Streaming Things. #houseofthedragon, #hotd, #caraxes, #dragons,…
The Mummer's Dragon Award for best performance in Tumbleton goes to James Norton, hands down. He played reasonable so well that the temper tantrum genuinely shocked. Plus a very serious debate about what gelding actually removes. Full House of the Dragon Tumbleton recap on Streaming Things. #houseofthedragon, #hotd, #jamesnorton, #gameofthrones,…
Tumbleton is a trading town and Ormund knows an opportunity when he smells one. Essential oils, wax melts, a candle called House of Black and White, and a downline of soldiers. The war can wait. Someone online called Daemon the most caring person in the show, which is insane. But he did love his brother, he loves his family in his own way, and he just doesn't know how to be a person. And the reason Rhaena got less of his love says everything. Full…

Cole is planning to fight as wraiths like he's in The Patriot, and honestly this is the best Criston we've seen in a long time. He grew up in poverty, Gwayne goes home to a feather bed, and from the smallfolk perspective every Targaryen sucks. So which side do you…
Relics of a dead regime. One line gave Kit chills for days, and a sneaky explanation for why the council balls never show up in Game of Thrones. Rhaenyra took away their toys. Full House of the Dragon Tumbleton recap on Streaming Things. #houseofthedragon, #hotd, #rhaenyra, #gameofthrones, #shorts
Aegon is a monster. His whole family agrees. But his bond with Sunfyre might be the one pure thing he has, and that dragon pit boop was maybe his only genuine smile ever. Full House of the Dragon Tumbleton recap on Streaming Things. #houseofthedragon, #hotd, #sunfyre, #aegon, #shorts

Dan Fogler - Kowalski from Fantastic Beasts - shows up in House of the Dragon Episode 3 as Torrhen Manderly. He just heard the new queen was around, has a seaside condo, it is mostly a timeshare, and his personal belongings are mostly sex toys. Have fun Your Grace! Catch…
House of the Dragon exists almost entirely in moral grey, unlike Game of Thrones which had Joffrey and Ramsay as clear cut villains you could point at and hate. But Episode 3 quietly does something smart by building Ormund Hightower into a genuinely formidable antagonist. Catch the full episode of…
Corlys Velaryon lost multiple children, his wife Rhaenys, his castle, and his generational wealth all in service of Rhaenyra's claim, and in Episode 3 she cannot even give him a basic acknowledgment. Rhaenyra Triumphant spends its entire runtime sitting in the discomfort of getting exactly what you wanted and finding out it kind of sucks, and the direction makes you feel every bit of it. Claustrophobic close ups, wide shots with characters crushed to the bottom of the frame, a tonal ringing…
Everyone in the HOTD fandom assumed the blonde kid in the trailer was Daeron - except Steve, who called it a fake Daeron from day one and refused to budge even as the pressure mounted. The reveal in Episode 3 confirmed it. Catch the full episode of Streaming Things wherever…
